Kendra Phillips is Group Director of Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS) for Ryder System, Inc., a Fortune 500 commercial fleet management and supply chain solutions company. She is responsible for three key areas within DTS’s growth: (1) successful value creation from and implementation of a new operating system, (2) significant operating change through the centralization of activities from four hundred locations throughout the U.S. to three locations and (3) strategic sales approach to new business.
Kendra’s passion is around strategic development and execution for growth. She began her 9 year career with Ryder in the Corporate Strategy group and worked her way up to lead strategic development for the Supply Chain Solutions division of Ryder. After her time in Strategy, Kendra took over running the Sales Solutions team and during this period Supply Chain Solutions Sales had their two most successful years on record.
Prior to Ryder, Kendra worked at Deloitte Consulting LLP. At Deloitte, Kendra led the global implementation of new technology platforms for numerous Fortune 500 customers. During her time at Deloitte, Kendra learned the value of a clear vision and strategy for achieving growth and driving change.
Kendra earned her M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her Masters in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. Kendra holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Kendra resides in Miami, Florida with her husband and their one year old son.
