Fay Donohue has been a leader in health and health care delivery and financing since 1975. She has brought her expertise in the dental benefits market and a deep commitment to improving oral health care delivery to her role as President and Chief Executive Officer of DentaQuest over the past 8 years. She retired in June 2015 and now focuses on board work, public policy and education.
DentaQuest, a leading oral health enterprise which includes: a dental benefit administrator providing coverage to over 22 million people, a national philanthropic organization, an oral health quality improvement research institute and a care delivery organization. All share a mission of improving the oral health of all.
Fay is a member of the boards of the Commonwealth Institute, the board of councilors for Nova Southeastern University Dental School and the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation. She is Chair of the National Institute for Children’s Health Care Quality (NICHQ) and has recently been appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts to the Council on Health Information and Analytics. Fay is a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum and serves on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Boston Club.
Fay graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a BA. She also holds an MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an MBA from Boston College.
