Barbara has extensive global corporate, entrepreneurial, and not-for-profit leadership experience in P&L management, strategic business consulting, organizational transformation, leadership/management development, executive coaching, and integrated talent management, as consultant and business executive in domestic and multinational companies.  She is currently Assistant Secretary of Human Resources in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs.

As CEO & President of Nobles Crawford & Partners for over 10 years, Barbara worked with a large number of Fortune 50 & 100 corporations, including IBM, General Motors, Texas Instruments, Forum Corporation, Raytheon, Gillette, Aetna Corporation, Lotus, Mass Mutual Insurance Companies, and Fidelity Investments.  Other major clients included state, local and federal governments, non-profits and professional organizations.   Her remarkable rise through various corporate revenue generating and human resource positions over 20 years, culminated in several executive roles in leading companies such as TJX, Digital Equipment Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Wang Laboratories, ICIC, and WFD, Inc.

Barbara serves on several boards, and is a frequently requested speaker and panel moderator for domestic and international leadership conferences.  She has a Ph.D. from Brandeis University, M.Ed., University of Virginia, and B.A., University of North Carolina-G.
