Monique Reneé Catoggio is Director of Advancement, Alumni & Corporate Relations for FIU’s College of Business Administration, where she also is an Adjunct Leadership Instructor and Executive Coach for MBA students and Women on the Move program participants. For the last 13 years she has led the development of external and alumni relations for FIU’s College of Business Administration, creating communication pieces and plans; key strategic media and business partnerships, and overseeing boards and events such as the Alumni Circle Charitable Board (40 executives), and its signature alumni event, the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. She has worked in Public Relations, Marketing, and Advancement for more than 16 years, with a special focus in the non-profit and education sectors. Prior to joining FIU, she managed various communication, marketing and event functions for the Orange Bowl Stadium, Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Youth Crime Watch of America. As an active community member, Monique is a Guardian Angel for Holtz Children’s Hospital, a United Way Young Leader/Women’s Leader, mentor and judge for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and is the facilitator of a group of women CEOs for the The Commonwealth Institute (TCI). Additionally, she is on the board of Scuba Nation and Light Up Learning. Monique received her EMBA from Florida International University and her BS in Communication from Florida State University. She is an accredited and certified coach and Master Practitioner of Energy Leadership, trained by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. Most recently, she has become a Practitioner of the ancient art of Chinese Face Reading, trained under renowned expert and author Jean Haner.
