Barbara Marx is Principal in Marx+, a marketing consultancy that specializes in positioning, branding and messaging. Over the course of her career she has establishing marketing programs for some of the world’s leading B2B and B2C technology, financial services and educational institutions. Her clients have ranged from major corporations and institutions including AT&T, IBM/Lotus, Fidelity, Northeastern and Tufts Universities to smaller early stage and emerging growth companies.
Prior to starting Marx+ she was Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Fidelity Investments’ 401(k) business. Barbara has held a variety of executive positions including General Manager and SVP of Hill and Knowlton New England. Barbara is a past president of The Boston Club and on the Board of The Commonwealth Institute.
