Each honoree, whether affiliated with a national corporation or from a local community, exhibits excellence in their demonstrated leadership, outstanding achievements and the enduring positive effects of their influence.

Our Keynote Speaker will be Stephanie Sonnabend, CEO and President of Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, and the Co-Founder and Chair of 2020 Women on Boards. As President of Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, Ms. Sonnabend oversees the hotel business her grandfather founded in the 1940s, which has expanded to 54 hotels, resorts, suites and Nile cruises in the US, Saint Maarten, Egypt, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. In 2010, Ms. Sonnabend co-founded 2020 Women on Boards, a national campaign designed to increase the percentage of women serving on corporate boards to 20% or greater by the year 2020, and to further expand the definition of good corporate governance to embrace board composition comprised of at least 20% women.
