Developer Roberta Sydney, President of Sydney Associates, Brookline, has just completed Center Place at Coolidge Corner, Brookline, with anchor tenant Pure Blu Jeans recently opening on the ground floor.

The Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance has named TCI member Catherine Friend White, President of FinArc, LLC, to its Advisory Board of Directors. The Cutler Center's mission is to provide state of the art technology and research resources to the Babson College community, encouraging faculty to incorporate practical research into the curricula.

TCI Member Susan Labandibar, Tech Networks of Boston, is featured on the front page of the Boston Globe.

Bridgewater State College's School of Business has appointed Paula Harris  of WH Cornerstone Investments to serve on its inaugural Advisory Council. The council is made up of nine members and reports to the Dean. The mission is to help provide insight, knowledge, resources, and advice to the faculty; provide connections in the regional community with others who may partner with the School of Business ; and promote the visibility and reputation of the School.

Congratulations to TCI Member Vicki Donlan, publisher and founder of Women's Business, who announces the release of her first book, Her Turn: Why It's Time for Women to Lead In America, published by Praeger Publishing.  The book makes the case for why the time is now to lead in all sectors across America and includes interviews with women and men across the country--several TCI members and board members are included.

Congratulations to TCI Members Sarah Goldsmith Schwartz of Schwartz Hannum PC and Beverly Kahn of New Dimensions in Technology. BothNew Dimensions in Technology and Schwartz Hannum PC have just announced that they have recieved re-certification as women-owned business enterprises (WBE) from the nationally-recognized Women's BusinessEnterprise National Council.  Additonally, for the second consecutive year, Goldsmith Schwartz was recognized by Chambers USA as a leading attorney in labor and employment law; New Dimensions in Technology is also certified by SOMWBA.

Congratulations to TCI Member Karen Bressler, CEO of AGAR Supply, who is a New England Regional Winner of the Ernst & Young Entreprenuer of the Year Award.  This honor is awarded to leaders who have demonstrated successes in innovation, financial performance and a personal commitment to their businesses, as well as a commitment to their surrounding communities.

Irma Mann, who started as the assistant to the president of Sonesta and worked her way up to Sonesta's Senior VP of Marketing Worldwide, has been appointed to the Sonsta Board of Directors. Sonesta Hotels is a public company that has more than 25 hotels and cruise ships.

Solomon McCown & Company (founded by TCI member Helene Solomon) brought home its largest-ever number of Bell Ringer honors from the annual Public Club of New England dinner on June 11th.
